Lifeline Support Program

See if You Qualify.

Lifeline Support Services is a non-transferable government assistance program that provides a discount on the cost of monthly eligible services. Nsight provides communication services through the lifeline discount program to eligible households.

Who is Eligible?

To receive the eligible service discounts, you must certify that you or someone in your household currently receives benefits from one of these programs:

  • Medicaid
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formally food stamps
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Federal Public House Assistance (Section8)
  • Veterans Pension Benefit

Tribal Eligibility

An eligible resident living on Federally Recognized Tribal Lands who participates in one of the following federal assistance programs shall also qualify for Enhanced Tribal Lifeline and Tribal Link-Up Assistance:

  • Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
  • Tribally Administered Temporary Assistance for Needy Family (Tribal TANF)
  • Head Start (Income-Based)
  • Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)

You may also qualify if your annual income is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.  Lifeline is limited to one eligible discount per household.

To Apply for Lifeline

Go to the Lifeline National Verifier online at nv.fcc.gov/lifeline or call the Lifeline Support Center at 800-234-9473. You may also print the Lifeline Application.

Once the National Verifier approves your Lifeline eligibility, please call us at (800) 826-5215 or stop in to one of our Nsight Telservices retail locations to discuss an appropriate Lifeline Plan for you.
